Precision and Intention

This project explores the foundational principles of line weight as a tool for defining depth and tonal perception within an image. Beginning with a series of four drawings inspired by the weavings of Anni Albers, the process involved layering trace paper to analyze organizational characteristics and structural composition.

Building on these observations, a collage was constructed using newspaper and naturally shedding tree bark, further emphasizing texture and material contrast. This composition was then abstracted and translated into a Bas Relief, reinforcing the interplay between form, surface, and spatial depth.
